I guess I'm blogging now?

Honestly, I'm just quickly throwing together a post before I jump into VR tonight, because I want to get this site… like, started properly?

First of all, yeah, I will be posting some kind of real Post About Cohost at some point in the near future, because wow. I have… like, complicated feelings about all of that, even though I'm definitely sad to see the site winding down before it had a serious chance to change course from the institutional and cultural problems that it had for much of its existence.

But for now, I'm just trying to get this site ready enough that I can, like, get people to be aware that it's a thing? aaaaaaa Hence a lot of stuff not being in finished shape. (Most of the time I would've liked to have spent creating new pages this afternoon instead went to hunting down whatever parts of 11straps's configuration were causing the italic version of the font to not display correctly, on top of some amount of jumping through hoops with the RSS generator.)

I've got that stuff done, now, though! So I'll be able to start actually using this site in some kind of serious capacity soon — I'm planning on posting some of my greatest hits from Cohost (with some of them being reworked), as well as getting into some things that I meant to longpost about on there, and also definitely getting into brand-new material. (Which should be easier after things calm down on the "getting the website working" front, the "doing legal volunteering of an urgent nature" front, and the "oh god there's way more deferred creative stuff I want to do" front. … …and also dealing with work being, well, work.)

Also, hm. This is a good opportunity for me to make analogous updates to the spicier companion to this site. Maybe even beefing up my Currently Kinda Placeholder domains into something useful.
